Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sales of jewelry and jewelry items by Maison Porchet, a SAS with a capital of [to be completed], headquartered at 20 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris, RCS Paris [to be completed], hereinafter "the Seller".

Any order placed on the porchet.fr website implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 — Products

The jewelry offered for sale is described with the greatest possible accuracy. The photographs are not contractually binding.

Porchet jewelry pieces are fine jewelry made of precious metals (18-karat gold, platinum) and adorned with cultured pearls and/or precious stones. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC). The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, with products being invoiced at the rate in force at the time of order validation.

Article 4 — Order

The order is validated after:

  • Selection of product(s) and addition to cart
  • Review of cart content
  • Entry of delivery information
  • Choice of payment method and validation
  • Confirmation by email

The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order for a legitimate reason.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, or bank transfer. Payment is secured by the SSL protocol.

For B2B professional clients, payment can be made by bank transfer within 30 or 60 days, depending on negotiated terms.

Article 6 — Delivery

Delivery methods:

  • Delivery by carrier (Colissimo Recommandé, Chronopost)
  • In-store pickup: 20 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris

Estimated delivery times:

  • Metropolitan France: 3 to 5 business days
  • Europe: 5 to 8 business days
  • International: 7 to 15 business days

Jewelry is shipped in a Porchet box, insured for its declared value. Signature required upon receipt.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, without justification.

The product must be returned in its original, unworn condition, in its box, accompanied by the invoice and certificate of authenticity. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.

Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized, engraved, or custom-made jewelry (Article L.221-28).

Article 8 — Warranty

All Porchet jewelry benefits from:

  • The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code)
  • The guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code)
  • A 2-year Porchet commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, shocks, or damage due to improper maintenance.

Article 10 — Liability

The Seller cannot be held responsible in cases of force majeure, disruption of postal services, or events beyond its control.

The collected information is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Consult our Privacy Policy.

Article 12 — Applicable law and disputes

These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. Failing that, the courts of Paris will have jurisdiction.
