Maison Porchet

Heritage and Excellence since 1928

Our Story

Nearly a Century of Heritage

From the careful selection of pearls to the purity of design, every Porchet creation is the fruit of a family passion passed down through three generations.

Since 1928

Our origins

Founded in 1928, the Maison established its business in Nice around diamonds, jewellery and, soon afterwards, cultured pearls.

Opening up to the world

From the 1960s onwards, the Maison strengthened its direct ties with Asia’s major producing regions. This close relationship with the source allows for a more discerning selection of pearls, stones and gems.

Expertise passed down

In the 1990s, a new generation expanded the Maison’s international presence and confirmed its specialisation in cultured pearls.

In 2026, Maison Porchet continues its story in Nice, bringing together its pearl expertise, exacting jewellery standards and a distinctly contemporary approach to design.

French excellence

Made in France craftsmanship

Over the years, the Maison’s market experience and the expertise of its jewellers have given rise to complete collections, from traditional jewellery to more contemporary capsule creations.

Pearls are selected at source, notably in Japan, Australia, Tahiti, Myanmar and China, to offer a wide range of colours and shapes. Made in France remains a source of pride for teams united by the same exacting standards.

The sketch

Every creation begins with an idea, translated into a sketch to define its lines, volumes and balance.

The model

Once the design is approved, the artisans bring it into three dimensions by making a model in silver or wax.

Casting and setting

Metal castings are then made. The stones, pearls and precious gems are fitted and set with precision.
